Co-creation of Gendered Policy Toolkit for AU Member States
This survey seeks to gather insights to inform the development of a Model Handbook and Toolkit that supports African Union (AU) Member States in designing gender-responsive policies and strategies for data governance. We are focusing on understanding the landscape, gaps, challenges, and opportunities for integrating gendered approaches across the data lifecycle in Zambia, Uganda, and the Ivory Coast.
Through your responses, we aim to:
- Map current practices in gendered data governance.
- Identify challenges and opportunities for more equitable policymaking.
- Co-create practical, Afro-feminist guidelines and tools for gendered data governance.
- Build a database of African women leaders in ICT, technology, and data governance.
Your input will directly contribute to creating a practical, dynamic toolkit to promote equitable, gender-transformative data governance frameworks across Africa. Thank you for your time and valuable insights!
