Our mandate: Unleash the potential of women and youth by achieving gender and youth parity, enabling development and fostering meaningful engagement. Youth: Young people constitute majority of the population in Africa and have the creativity, vibrancy and capacity to potentially transform Africa. Gender: Women constitute about half of Africa’s population and are necessary contributors to the advancement of the continent. Our priority areas: Youth and Gender Transformative Programming 1. Achieve gender and youth parity 2. Safety, health, wellbeing and dignity 3.Women and youth development 4. Engagement/voices Maintaining Strong Foundations 1. Partner and network mobilization 2. Data and Evidence 3. Policies, standards and accountability 4. Communications Catalyzing Action in Countries for Scale and Impact 1.Policy advocacy 2.Inter-country learning 3.Peer learning 4.Country technical assistance
